Stay 5 years.
Work in a regional area of Australia - the Gold Coast is now a designated regional area.
You must have an occupation on a relevant skilled occupation list.
Be under 45 to apply.
Score 65 points or more on the points test.
Have competent English - IELTS 6
With this visa, you can apply for permanent residence through the Permanent Residence (Skilled Regional) visa (subclass 191) – which commences on 16 November 2022.
Please note: With this visa, you pay for the Skills Assessment, EOI & Nomination initially, and do not have to pay for the visa until this first stage has been completed.
Skilled Independent Visa

This visa is for invited workers and New Zealand citizens with skills Australia needs, to live and work permanently anywhere in Australia.

With this visa, you can stay permanently.
Live and work anywhere in Australia.
If eligible become an Australian citizen.
You must have an occupation on the relevant skilled occupation list.
Have a suitable skills assessment.
Be under 45 to apply.
Score at least 65 points on the points test.
Be invited to apply for the visa after submitting an EOI and then being nominated.

Working Holiday Visas
Subclasses 417 & 462

These visas lets people 18 to 30 years old and Canadian, French and Irish citizens 18 to 35 years old, have an extended holiday in Australia and work here to help fund their trip.
You must have a passport from an eligible country or jurisdiction.
You can work while you are here.
You can stay 12 months and renew it for up to 3 years if eligible.

This temporary visa for up to 4 years lets an employer sponsor a suitably skilled worker to fill a position they can’t find a suitably skilled Australian to fill.
This visa has a number of different streams.
You must have an approved sponsor and be nominated for the visa.
You need to be skilled in an occupation on the relevant skilled occupations list.
